VClicks is a queer, brown, photographer based in Dallas, Texas. I moved to Texas in 2014. Certified in photography from School of Visual Arts with a CPP and Shawn Acadamy. I first picked up a camera at the age of 22, spending my time shooting rolls of film and developing images in the darkroom. I spent 3 years capturing nature, memories, and smiles; using various types of lenses. Captivated by oral histories and how they can shape a culture, my work is an exploration of home, identity, and personal space largely focusing on the intimate and interpersonal stories of people of color and of queer people
